Six layers, one system
Every design choice follows the same rule: if a number or an action cannot be traced and explained, it does not ship.
Analysis engine
TANO Bot continuously scans supported markets for structure — momentum persistence, volatility expansion, liquidity imbalance — and classifies the active regime before it considers acting.
Independent risk gate
Strategies emit intentions, not orders. A separate risk engine applies position limits, exposure caps and drawdown policy before anything reaches a venue. A model cannot vote itself more capital.
Execution layer
Orders are sized against live book depth, routed through the execution adapter and measured for fill quality. Slippage measurements feed back into sizing on the next decision.
Custody & ledger
Client assets sit with a qualified custodian. Every deposit, allocation, fill, fee and redemption is a double-entry ledger posting, reconciled against custodian statements.
Observability
Heartbeat monitoring pauses new orders on a missed signal. Operators hold kill switches at bot, strategy and platform level, and every action lands in an immutable audit log.
Why adapters instead of lock-in
Custody, execution, market data, compliance and AI providers each sit behind an adapter interface. The platform does not depend on any single vendor: a custodian or data provider can be replaced without rewriting the product. This is deliberate — critical infrastructure should never be a single point of failure.
The same discipline applies to accounting. Reported figures are recomputed from ledger entries, so screens and statements cannot drift apart — they share one source of truth.
