Trading technology

The unglamorous infrastructure that makes the rest possible.

Strategy engines get the attention; custody, accounting and execution quality decide whether returns survive contact with reality. This is the layer TANO was built around first.

Four pillars

Custody, not browser wallets

Client assets are held with a qualified custodian through the custody adapter. TANO never asks for a seed phrase or private key.

Multi-venue market data

Feeds from several venues are merged into one canonical, timestamped stream. Downstream systems never see raw vendor quirks — only audited series.

Measured execution

Orders are sized against live depth and every fill's slippage is recorded. Execution quality is a measured quantity, not a marketing adjective.

Double-entry ledger

Every deposit, allocation, fill, fee, accrual and redemption is a balanced ledger posting. Reported figures are recomputed from entries, so screens and statements cannot drift apart.

Reconciliation as a feature

Balances shown to clients are derived from the ledger and reconciled against custodian statements. When a discrepancy appears, reconciliation surfaces it as an exception for operators — it does not silently adjust a number on a screen.

The same ledger feeds performance reporting, fee accrual, proof-of-reserves views and the client activity log. One source of truth, many read models.
